No Limits
No Limits is the brand adopted to promote the Pennine Lancashire Local Enterprise Growth Initiative (LEGI). LEGI is a central government funded scheme aimed at promoting enterprise in deprived communities.
No Limits came together through a partnership of various public, private and community bodies including four Borough Councils; Blackburn with Darwen, Burnley, Pendle, Hyndburn and also Lancashire County Council. Other partners include Accrington Stanley, Blackburn Rovers, and Burnley Football Clubs, the Consortium of Local Enterprise Agencies, Community and Business Partners Ltd, Elevate, East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce and representatives from the private sector.
A successful £23.4m bid for LEGI funding, the biggest LEGI award in the country, allowed No Limits to begin work in 2007.
There are twelve separate No Limits projects namely; School's Out, Helping Hands, Enterprise Challenge, BIDs, Women Mean Business, Guardian Angels, Eureka, Enterprise Havens, Constructing the Future, Shooting Stars, Get Set and Finance for Growth. Each project has its own identity and different funding process and takes full advantage of Evolutive's flexibility to ensure that monitoring and outputs are tailored to the project. Evolutive allows No Limits to identify outputs for each project including jobs created, turnover and research and development.
No Limits use Evolutive primarily to monitor their funding and help with their workflow. For each project, No Limits are able to easily identify the steps that need to be taken in order for a grant to be awarded and follow each individual through their bid for funding. All contact with clients is logged, enhancing communication between partners and ensuring that individual Advisors and Officers are better informed and aware of the bigger picture. No duplication of information ensures that everybody has access to the same single data source.
Comprehensive reporting and performance monitoring tools simplify cross partner outputs on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Not only does the reporting tool give No Limits the facility to view actual results but it also allows them to view their targets. This allows No Limits to review their performance at the click of a mouse and ensure that their targets are being met.
No Limits makes full use of Evolutive's Event Manager Module, allowing them to efficiently organise and manage their events. The module allows events to be created and potential invitees to be identified prior to creating an invitation mail-shot. Responses to the invitations are used to create an intended attendee list. After the event has taken place Evolutive makes it easy to record a list of those who did and did not attend, and these can be used as the basis of an invitation list for the next event. Their events range from smaller more specialised workshops to larger networking evenings for up to 80 people. With the Event Manager Module No Limits are able to ensure that as many events as possible reach maximum capacity.
