Summer has arrived and there will be plenty for you to see and do in the city centre.  Creativesheffield has been busy keeping the city moving, see below for a snapshot of some exciting summer events and initiatives.

 
WEDNESDAY NIGHT LIVE 2009

Wednesday Night Live will be making a return to the city centre from Wednesday 3 June.  Entertainment and deals in bars and restaurants will help to make the summer of 2009 one to remember. 

Come along to Leopold Square this Wednesday to see Paul Pashley singing 'rat pack' inspired tracks at 6.30pm and 8.30pm. Next week (10 June) catch Just Jack at the Leadmill.

SHEFFIELD MUSIC CITY

Sheffield Music City will run from July 22 to 26 with a range of performances and workshops. People can listen to music all over the city centre, from a small bar to a wide open space.

 

Highlights include Tramlines, a three-night programme of performances with each night curated by a Sheffield musician.  Those signed up include Matt Helders of Arctic Monkeys, Jon McClure of Reverend and the Makers, and emerging DJ Toddla T.

MEMO MARKET

On 23 and 24 July, Devonshire Green will play host to Sheffield’s Memo Market,  packed full of Sheffield must-have products and memorabilia.  For the two days it will run alongside Sheffield Music City and can be found on the
piazza at Devonshire Green.

NEW STORE IN CITY CENTRE
