Published on Wednesday, 14 December 2016

Alcium Software’s Evolutive system has been implemented as the Management Information System for the Building Better Opportunities Black Country programme.

Building Better Opportunities is a multi-million pound funding programme which matches money from the European Social Fund (ESF) 2014-2020 and Big Lottery Fund, to invest in local projects tackle the root causes of poverty and social exclusion faced by the most disadvantaged people in England.

Each lead organisation for the programme has a network of delivery partners across the Black Country, who can deliver a wide range of activities and services to support participants in moving closer to employment.

The lead organisations and the projects are below:

  • Steps to Work - BRIDGES
The Bridges project aims to support a variety of projects Black country wide ranging from those improving employability for the most disadvantaged, helping those with multiple and complex needs, to improving financial literacy and basic 1-to-1 support.
  • Heart of England Community Foundation - Community Matters
Community Matters aims to generate greater prosperity in communities across the Black Country. The programme is a nationwide network of projects aiming to tackle the root causes of worklessness, to promote social inclusion and to drive local growth.
  • Walsall Housing Group - Black Country Click Start
The Black Country Click Start project seeks to provide wraparound support to improve digital and financial inclusion. Partners work across the region to deliver a range of initiatives aimed at helping vulnerable people make the most of the internet to manage their money and find training, volunteering or employment opportunities.
  • Black Country Together C.I.C.  - Family Matters
Family Matters aims to help people across the Black Country build the skills and confidence to get into work. Family Matters works with people one-to-one to understand their goals and their challenges, and then offer all the support that’s needed to help them meet those goals.
Evolutive is used as the Management Information System for the programme, providing all organisations and partner organisations with a comprehensive participant tracking system to monitor the participant journey across each project and report on a range of performance and outcome data, in line with programme requirements. Evolutive offers real time data and analysis for full monitoring and management.

In addition, Alcium Software have developed all associated online forms which are fully compliant with the requirements of the Building Better Opportunities programme. All forms are dynamically linked to the Evolutive system to assist in the delivery of the projects.

Evolutive is currently used by public and private sector organisations throughout the UK for employability programmes, participant management and comprehensive client/participant tracking. For more information, email info@alciumsoftware.com
